New Hampshire Nature Notes

Turkeys were back in big numbers since we got snow last week. They fed up this morning and this hen decided to roost next to my bird feeder taking no chances she'd miss the next bucket of feed I'll toss out my deck window.

And my blue Jays looked so brilliant in the morning sun. Despite the single digit reading on my thermometer this morning the sun feels pretty good. Last week saw the statistically coldest temperatures of the winter. So we are headed in the right direction towards warmer temperatures and spring is sure to be right around the corner
