New Hampshire Nature Notes by Eric Orff

Thursday 11/14/2019 New Hampshire Fish and Game Walt Stevens interview (VIDEO)

Walt Stevens was the New Hampshire Fish and Gamer Department Game Farm superintendent for several decades at the Brentwood facility. Walt gives us a historical account of raising ten to twelve thousand pheasants each year. Plus the Game Farm was a public attraction as he had other wild animals there such as owls, deer and all sorts of other NH wildlife on view. Walt says he had over ten thousand visitors a year. Families could come see native wildlife up close for free.
