NH Fish and Game Department waterfowl biologist says there are about 1,600 goose hunters (VIDEO)

Wednesday 09/04/2019

New Hampshire Fish and Game waterfowl biologist Jessica Carloni says there are about 1,600 goose hunters in New Hampshire who will kill about a thousand geese in the state in September. There are about 40,000 resident geese in the state with many of them causing health concerns from their droppings. The special September resident goose seasons is an effort to help control their numbers. Another 4,600 will likely be killed in the regular fall season starting in early October.
