New Hampshire bear kill update. (VIDEO)

The New Hampshire black bear kill as of October 9th 2019 is 578 bears. This is 13 percent below the 5-year average for this date and 40 percent below last years kill at this same date. Bear numbers remain strong across the state. Bait hunters took the majority of bears by far at 430 bears. Hound hunters have only taken 24 bears so far.
