Bear Season Update #7

The harvest tally for New Hampshire's 2010 bear season stands at 702 bears. While the 2010 harvest was slightly lower (-7%) than the 2009 level, the season concluded 35 % above the preceding 5-year average (520 bears). The harvest consisted of 360 males and 342 females yielding a harvest sex ratio of 1.1 males per female. A seasonal breakdown by region and method follows.
